Tie Dye For

Top picture: Maxi dress - New Look, belt - H&M, watch - Casio, bracelets - Topshop

The minute I saw Australian model Jessica Hart in this tie dye maxi, I knew I had to find a way to replicate it. The DMs and bowler hat couldn't be less me, but the dress I love love love. So I set out on my maxi mission, and stumbled across this gem, hidden behind some black and striped numbers in New Look. Of course the colour isn't right, but I prefer the slightly more subtle blue and cream. And all for only £22. Perfect.

The Whistles Way

A quiet day at work today so I did a floor move, actioning all the information I learnt yesterday when I met some head office types. Of course I'm biased because I work there, but the Whistles AW10 collection is one of a kind. Many are already coveting the sheepskin aviator jacket (see top photo), due instore in September. Their AW10 Look Book is full of seriously covetable pieces so make sure you check back here for drop dates.

TUESDAY means Grazia

TUESDAY! My favourite day of the week because Grazia comes out. Was trekking on the train today to Whistles on Kings Road to do a VM day (meant to take photos, and forgot - very annoyed). So Grazia was a perfect accompaniment. Particularly loved the summary of AW10 trends. But slightly baffled by the article entitled 'The shocking rise of age zero'. Surely the girls featured in this article look young because they ARE young? What's your desert island magazine?

Primark, you have outdone yourself

There were some unexpected treats to be found in Primark this week. £11 will buy the amazing striped jersey maxi, a dead ringer for a £120 Acne dress. Exactly what I was after, but about three inches too short. Shame. What I did splash on though were these buckled boots for £15. Every retailer from Primark to Topshop to ASOS have done copies of these Opening Ceremony £325 buckle boots, but none I could find were quite right. These beauts fit the bill though, and were such a bargain.

TOPSHOP drop

I rarely try things on in Topshop. My native store is so small and hot, if I buy anything I just take it home and then almost certainly return it a few days later. But today I couldn't resist these leopard print jeans, which I'd team with black super wedges, and a loose black silky tee. I've been eyeing up these cheapo jersey maxis too, but wasn't sure about the midi length, what do you think? They come in such great colours, I took this burnt orange one home with me.
